We have included pictures of the new Giulia because it is a beautiful car, a bit rare and because it will become a future classic, - like all previous Giulias.

The new Alfa Romeo Giulia has nice red brake calipers, although this diesel version doesn't really belong in the same class as McLaren and Ferrari.

About the pictures and the cars

I took the photos of the red Giulia at Aker Brygge during the introduction in 2016. I also got to try the driver's seat. The exhibition model was a diesel. At the introduction in 2016, two diesel engines were offered at 150 and 180 HP - then with an entry price of just under NOK 400. The petrol option was only the V000 with Quadrifoglio equipment, which would send the price to over a million. But today you can get the Giulia with a 6 liter turbocharged petrol engine of either 2,0 HP or 200 HP. These are engines which, on paper, are ideal for the Giulia - and which, in terms of price, are in the same league as the diesel alternatives.

The dark Monza Red color is photographed at Aker Brygge. The Giulia in Blu Mizano was photographed at a Cars & Coffee event at Øvrevoll outside Oslo. It has the new 2,0T MultiAir engine with 280 HP - and it has ALFA Q4 four-wheel drive.
