Rough front - dull rear
It has a raw front. The Levant looks great until you get to the rear end. Did the design team run out of time, money or ideas? Regardless, the Levante is a great car that competes with the Porsche Cayenne. When you see the high number of Cayennes on Norwegian roads, there should be room for this car as well. The engines are Ferrari-produced 3,0-litre V6 or 3,8 V8 as well as 3,0 V6 Turbodiesel.
Many chose diesel
According to Maserati, the Modena S will have a 2,8 liter V6 twin turbo engine that produces 430 HP and a torque of 580 Nm between 2000 and 4250 rpm. 0-100 in 5,2 seconds. I can't find any diesel versions on Maserati's website anymore, but it is a fact that most customers chose diesel in the first years the Levante was on sale in this country. The diesel engine is a 3,0 liter V6 Turbo, 275 HP and a torque of 600 Nm between 2000 and 2650 rpm. 0-100 can be done in 6,9 seconds.
About the pictures
The photos of the exhibition model were taken in connection with a car show at Aker Bryggr in Oslo, when the Maserati Levante was launched in Norway. The photos of the brown car were taken outside the Fornebu Golf Center, which is now closed.
