
It is not easy to understand Fiat's model range.

Fiat's compact models started with Ritmo, then Tipo, then Bravo and Brava, then just Bravo - and today the Tipo name is back in use. The predecessor of today's Tipo is the Bravo, produced between 2007 and 2013.

I came across a Bravo here one evening, parked in front of the "office" in the old maintenance hall of SAS in Fornebu. The building mass there is reminiscent of the old Soviet Union, gray and sad - marked by the ravages of time. Today, parts of the building are rented out to Økern Bilauksjon. The red Bravo is one of the cars to be auctioned off. The beautiful red color stands in stark contrast to the hideous building behind.
Fiat Bravo (2007-2013) is not known for having any major weaknesses. Fiat's MultiJet diesel engines are shared with, among others, GM and are top class. It is this engine that you will find in almost all Bravos in this country. The first years as 1,9 liters with 90 HP, then from 2009 as 1,6 liters with 90 HP or 105 HP.
The inventory at Bravo is characterized by some cheap solutions and probably does not stand the test of time very well. Quality in general is on a par with cars such as the Opel Astra, Citroën C4 and Peugeot 307. But you can easily "turn the tables" and say that the Fiat Bravo doesn't have anything special either benefits compared to the above car brands, except for one thing.
Its great appearance
Red cars bring to mind compatriots such as Ferrari and Alfa Romeo. Colors often change names from nation to nation. I think it should be mandatory to use Italian Italian car color names. It also appears that the same color code is available on several of today's Fiat models, including the new Tipo and the new 124 Sport Spider.
The prices of Bravo models are now starting to creep down towards thirty-some thousand. On cars like this, you should take into account that maintenance can cost as much as NOK 1 a month. The pictured model is for sale at Økern Bilauksjon. It is a 000 model, with a recently changed reg belt and great service. The asking price indicates that the contract sum ends up in the upper part of thirty-some thousand.
