Mustangs from Drammen and the surrounding area
Saturday before 17 May got Hadeland Glassworks visit from Drammen Mustang Club. The main entrance was surrounded by beautiful Mustangs. They fit in well among the historic buildings. Together, they formed a great period piece from the 60s.

Healey's inside
The 60s color scheme was reinforced in the factory area inside. There was an AC Cobra and six stripped Austin Healeys lined up after their spring clean. A very beautiful spectacle. I'm guessing it was Austin Healey Club Norway who was on an excursion. In addition, there were two MGBs and an Alfa Romeo 1750 GT. It is wonderful to see that excursions like this are organized.
Covid adapted
For the record, let me add that the event was probably not a general car meeting - and thus not in breach of the Covid rules. As I walked between the cars, I was alone - and I only saw a couple of visitors to the surrounding sales. Everyone also kept a good distance around the Mustangs.
Worth a visit
It is worth taking a trip to Hadeland Glassverk even if there are no Mustangs there. In the sales you will find utility glass, designer glass, farm food and beer from microbreweries, to name a few. Something for every taste. We ended up buying new beer glasses for the cabin and a beautiful, handmade crystal vase - and had lunch in the cafe. The distance from Oslo is approximately 55 km via Klekken. From Drammen it is approximately 70 km. So, then, - even if there weren't any Mustangs there, I hope that as many people as possible choose their fine car when they go on an excursion there.
