Aston Martin DB6

DB6
Aston Martin DB6.

Compared to its predecessor, the DB5, the rear end with its Kamm profile and spoiler is the most prominent visual change. This solution provided better stability at high speeds. The cars had their wheelbase extended by 9,5 cm, which provided more space in the rear. Also note that the DB6 has two-piece bumpers at the front and rear.

The engine consists of a straight-six with DOHC, 4.0 liters and 282 hp. Manual 5-speed transmission from ZF or 3-speed automatic from Borg-Warner. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h is stated at 6,2 seconds and the top speed is 241 km/h.
