Fishing - up and down ... and up again?

Fisker, named after the founder Henrik Fisker, was an electric car concept where a 2 liter petrol engine served as a range extender, i.e. as a generator to keep the batteries fully charged. Effective production time lasted approximately one year before they had to withdraw the years. The company and the rights have been taken over by a Chinese company, and now Fisker has been reborn as the Karma Revero. It looks exactly the same as the Fisker Karma, except for a different pattern in the grill. The range on battery operation is the same as before (80 km factory figure / 50 km EPA), while the range extender – i.e. the petrol engine that charges the batteries – has probably received better performance, because the total range with the range extender is now 480 km (factory figure) against previously 400 km.

About the pictures

The photos of the silver-grey car were taken in the premises of Opel City in Fornebu, which also shares premises - and possibly other interests - with Auto Tjuvholmen, which was an importer in Norway when Fisker went bankrupt. Photos have also been taken of a darker gray car. It was photographed outside the workshop of Fornebu Bil/Mekonomen Fornebu.
