Only 200 left
The Ford OSI is the car I saw in foreign car catalogs - never on the road. The explanation may be that only 2200 of them were made - and only 200 of them are to be left. The cars are built in Italy by the Italian coachbuilder OSI (Officine Stampaggi Industriali, Turin). However, all mechanics were supplied by Ford in Cologne, based on what they had on the shelves there. This means that even though the car looks like it could handle both 8 and 12 cylinders, it has normal Ford engines in it. 2,0 – 2,3 – The V6 engines found in the Ford 20M.
Italian design, German technology. The cars were not as "fancy" as their appearance might suggest. The OSI got its own interior, but several details derive from Ford's M series.
About the pictures
The cars are pictured at a car meeting for classic Ford M at RøhneSelmer Billingstad outside Oslo. One of the photos was taken at the Oslo Motor Show 2019.
