Model history

The Honda NSX was Honda's first mass-produced car with a mid-engine and sports car ambitions. The model was produced from 1990 to 2005. In 1997 it received a facelift. At that time, the original 3,0-liter V6 engine with 273 HP was replaced by a 3,2-liter engine. It is not very often that you see an NSX. In the UK, only 495 cars were sold. The Honda NSX is undoubtedly a car for enthusiasts who enjoy long road trips. For daily short trips they are not as suitable. The first cars lacked power steering and were not particularly easy to pry into tight parking spaces.

About the pictures

The red car is photographed at a Cars & Coffee meeting at Øvrevoll gallop. The yellow car in the main picture was on display at The London Classic Car Show. In the foreground is a car with pop-up headlights, while the car in the background has fixed headlights that the NSX got from 2002. The picture from the engine compartment is from the same car. The yellow car in the outdoor photos was photographed while it was parked at Storøyodden in Fornebu.
