The company Honda was founded by Soichiro Honda in 1937 with low-scale production of engine parts, motorized tricycles and own motorcycles from 1949. Ten years later they were the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles. Car production started in 1963 with the "Kei cars" T360 and N360. This eventually got a 600 cubic meter and the N600 became the first model to be brought into Norway. Then followed the Civic and other popular models. Honda is established all over the world, and is a major car manufacturer in the USA.
