The car manufacturer Lamborghini was founded in 1963 by Ferruccio Lamborghini. The company managed to create legendary supercar models such as the Miura, Espada and Contach before they went bankrupt in 1977. Following several turbulent years, Chrysler took over in 1987. After several changes of ownership, Lamborghini was acquired by the Volkswagen group and ended up under Audi.
- Dad pays!
Two Lamborghinis raced down Park Lane in London. One, a Saudi Arabian boy, fails to stop and crashes between two stationary cars.
Lambo all year round!
We have a long winter in Norway. That's why I have a great sense for people who let life take its course even if it's dark, muddy, slippery - and occasionally white. They like to drive Lamborghinis all year round.
Lamborghini Gallardo
It was referred to as "The little Lamborghini". Primarily because of the engine, a V10 instead of a V12 – but also because of the length, just over 4,3 metres.
Lamborghini Scrambled
Lamborghini's plug-in hybrid is no environmental car. The batteries are there to create extra driving pleasure. 1015 hp and 0-100 in 2,5 seconds.
Lamborghini Huracán
Coupe or Spyder? Both with a 5,2-litre V10 without turbo, - but different outputs have been taken out. The model designations indicate HP and the number of wheels with drive.
Lamborghini Espada
A low center line and large glass surfaces were typical of the time. With a front-mounted engine and 4 seats, the Espada was not the toughest car in its class.
Lamborghini Miura
One of the world's most beautiful cars - and among the most expensive. At a French auction earlier this year, a barn wreck with a rotten interior went for €560 plus fees.
Lamborghini Aventador
Produced from 2011 - and still in production with a 6,5 liter V12 engine. The model names indicate the number of horsepower and how many wheels are pulling.
Lamborghini Countach
It created a whole new generation of supercars. Even today it looks brutally raw. Since it was built as a true racing car, performance and handling were the focus – not comfort.
Lamborghini urraco
A small Lamborghini with 2+2 seats and a V8 engine was supposed to attract wealthy car buyers in the seventies.
Lamborghini Silhouette
The model was built on the Urraco but got a targa roof and more straight and angular bodywork and the same 3,0 V8 as the Urraco.
