The car in the picture is an LC500h - i.e. a hybrid version. You can also get it with a 5,0 liter V8 – 477 HP and 540 Nm of torque. In Norway, it is the hybrid drive system that applies, although there must be 3 cars registered in Norway with a V8. It consists of a 3,5 liter V6 and 2 electric motors. The petrol engine produces 299 HP and the two electric motors together 179 HP. In total, you can get 359 HP and a total torque of 500 Nm. Both the V8 and the hybrid drive use the same 10-speed DSG solution.
About the pictures
The red car – a hybrid – is photographed at Strømmen Storsenter on the occasion of "Car Day at Romerike 2018". It was exhibited by Lexus Norway. The orange car was parked at Oksenøya, Fornebu, 2024.
