It attracts attention because it has performance in the absolute top tier of supercars, with "only" a V6 engine.
Maserati Corse
In Norwegian, Maserati Racing – a real racing car? It has a mid-mounted 3,0 liter V6 engine that produces 630 hp with a maximum torque of 730 Nm. Ready to drive, the pictured car weighs 1538 kg. The stated top speed is over 325 km/h, and 0 — 100 km/h can be covered in less than 2,9 seconds. On paper, this car can outrun any mass-produced car in the world.
The Nettuno engine
Again some translation. "Nettuno" is Neptune, and refers to Maserati's logo. But before we go any further, there are rumors that Maserati has taken Formula-1 technology from Ferrari, which hardly worries anyone. Maserati emphasizes the following 3 advantages with the engines: Pre-chambers to the usual combustion chamber. A secondary spark plug that ensures constant combustion when the engine is operating at low load so that the combustion in the pre-chambers does not kick in. An injection system that can switch between direct and indirect injection.

Like a racing car on the road
Since the Maserati MC20 does not have 4-wheel drive, one might wonder how safe it is on the road. Power is delivered to the rear wheels from an 8-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and differential lock. This is mechanical as standard, but you can order electronically controlled and then it can probably be adjusted so that you can drift the car in a controlled manner. Well, maybe not something you will need on the road, but an additional piece of equipment you may need is a "suspension lifter" where you can lift the front a little at the push of a button so that you can overcome scary speed bumps as long as you keep your speed below 40 km/h.
