This must be the coolest caravan you can hook to the back of your vintage car. I wonder if it could fit a Tesla too?
Cool but not great
It's not every day that we come across an American Dream Classic Camping Trailer. This wagon is actually brand new, built in a nostalgic style. Ready to drive, it weighs just 280 kg and the permitted total weight is 750 kg, so you can also transport camping equipment. You may not be the king of the campsite, but you will definitely be one of the coolest.
For electric cars
The low weight and low height means that the stroller can be used on all electric cars with a towbar. Although several electric cars can withstand much higher weight, a box-shaped caravan in full width and height will make a dent in the range.
Total trailer weight for popular electric cars
KIA e-Soul: 300 kg
Hyundai Kona: 300 kg
Jaguar I-Pace: 750 kg
Tesla Model 3: 1000 kg
Volvo XC40 EV: 1500 kg
Audi e-tron: 1800 kg
Mercedes-Benz EQC: 1800 kg
Volkswagen ID.3: Cannot tow a trailer.
Nissan Leaf: Can't tow a trailer.
Equipped for wild camping
Inside there is sleeping space for 2. The mattress can be transformed into a simple sofa during the day. Fabrics and curtains are kept in a nostalgic style from the 60s and 70s. Wall shelf is optional. It is possible to order a TV as additional equipment. The hatch hides a simple storm kitchen. There is no toilet, but you can perhaps bring a porta potty?
Boat on the roof
The dinghy on the roof weighs only 40 kg. It accommodates 3 people and can take a 2 HP engine. Imagine how nice it can be if you back the trailer all the way down on a small beach, rig up with an awning and set out a couple of deck chairs.
Price and supplier
Vogna is marketed by dealers all over the world, so look it up on Google. If I remember correctly, it was possible to have it sent to Norway.

About the pictures
The main photo was taken at a Cars & Coffeee event at Øvrevoll gallop outside Oslo. The cart in the photo is probably the only one in Norway. The other photos are from American Dream's website.
