A lot of cars in 4 metres
The Peugeot 204 was presented in 1965 as a modern small car with a transverse engine and front-wheel drive. In terms of size, it competed with cars such as the Austin/Morris 1100, Fiat 1100, Opel Kadett and Ford Anglia. The standard engine was a 1100 engine with 58 HP. It was also available with a small diesel engine. The Peugeot 204 was available in several variants. In addition to the 4-door 3-box design, it was available as a 5-door station wagon, a 3-door coupé with a practical rear door and as a convertible. A lot of car in just under 4 meters.
Model follow-up
The model never received a facelift during production, - only small changes that make it possible to determine the model year.

About the pictures
The car in the main image was photographed at a car rally in Canet-de-Roussillon outside Perpignan, France. The white and red saloon versions were also photographed at a similar rally, this time at Chateau Rossillon in Perpignan. Two other images of the same car were taken in the city center of Céret, 2025. The white coupé version is also pictured in Céret, France in 2024.
