One of the world's most durable cars. The Peugeot 504 was popular as company cars and taxis. The passenger cars were produced between 1968 and 1978 - the pickup/utilitaire was produced until 1983. The model was popular on several continents - not least in Norway. The most popular engine was a 2-liter with 98 HP. You could also get it by injection. Another, less expensive engine option was the 1,8 liter 80 HP. The diesel version was initially 2,1 liters 65 HP, later increased to 2,3 liters 70 HP. There was also a 2,7-litre V6 - but I think it mostly went in the coupe and cabriolet variants. There are currently 198 cars in Norway (all designs).

504 Estate
The station wagons are immortal cars that African migrant workers often took home to Algeria and Morocco – packed with several hundred kilos of moving cargo on the roof. Like its predecessors, the 504 Break was also delivered as a "Familiale" with 3 rows of seats.

504 Dangel
The pickups were produced several years after the production of passenger cars was discontinued. The pictured model with 4×4 has been modified by angel which has specialized in creating 4-wheel drive solutions for PSA cars.
504 Coupé
504 Convertible
The coupé and cabriolet followed the same engine program and model changes. The model was produced from 1969 to 1983 with a mild facelift in 1974. Most visible were the headlights where double lights became single rectangular ones. You can see it in the pictures below. From the start of production, the engines were only 1,8 103 HP with mechanical injection. From 1970 this was replaced with a 2-litre – also with mechanical injection and 104 HP. From the facelift in 1974, you could get the coupé and cabriolet with the V6, the so-called PRV engine that had been developed as a joint venture between Peugeot, Renault and Volvo. In 1974, this engine was 2,7 liters and produced 144 HP.

504 Berlin
The photo of the 504 sedan in motion was taken at Fornebu outside Oslo. The car in the showroom is on display at Andresen Bil, Ski. It has had one owner in its lifetime – dentist, local politician and visual artist Olav Dag Viken in Ski. The light blue car with French registration plates participated in a car meet in Perpignan, France. The photo of the 504 in rally outfit was taken at Canet-en-Roussillon outside Perpignan in connection with a car meet there.

The blue station wagon is photographed at the Oslo Motor Show 2021. The white station wagon is pictured along the street in Lisbon.
504 pickup
Two of the pickups have Norwegian registration numbers. The first participated in an exhibition at Andresen Bil, Ski. The second was photographed in Drammen 2026. The other pickups were photographed along the street in Céret, France. The light 4×4 Dangel version was in active service for a French municipality, while the red one previously served with the fire department in one of the neighboring towns.
504 Coupé
The light green coupé model was photographed at a car show in Perpignan, France, 2024. The exterior and interior photos of the brown Coupe come from an auction lot previously advertised on InterEncheres.com.
504 Convertible
The pictures of the blue convertible variant were taken in Holland Park, London. The red convertible is pictured at the Ekebergtreffet used car fair.
