The company Peugeot was founded in the early 1800s and began producing bicycles early on. Already at the end of the 1890s, they started the production of cars under license from Daimler. In 1974 they took over Citroen and formed PSA. In 1978 they took over the factories of Chrysler Europe and in 2021 they entered Stellantis.

Pininfarina was responsible for the design with straight lines that ended with straight, marked fins at the rear. But the fins were not as extreme as on American cars.
Peugeot 604
Peugeot managed to create a prestige model of the 604, but it was not a financial success for Peugeot. But the Peugeot 604 looks fantastic!
