The Pontiac Solstice is a roadster built on the same platform as the Opel GT (the GM Kappa platform). The model was first delivered with a 2,4-liter inline-four with 179 HP, later with a 2,0-liter with 264 HP. The engine is located at the front, long-positioned with operation on the rear wheels. Two variants were made, a roadster and a coupé with a fixed roof.
