Bears features from early 911 models

Today, the Porsche 964 is not only a vintage car and a classic, but also the last model with an early 911 appearance. About the 964 it was said that no previous 911 model had received as many changes, but that was before the 966 arrived. The most noticeable change compared to its predecessor is the bumpers that were incorporated into the bodywork. In retrospect, one can clearly see that the 964 carries many features from the original 911 series. The model was produced between 1989 and 1994.

About the pictures

The mint green model is photographed at Sjøflyhavna Kro, Rolfstangen outside Oslo. The two black Porsches (964 and 991.2) are also photographed at Sjøflyhavna Kro. The black one with French plates was photographed on the occasion of a car rally at Canet-en-Roussillon outside Perpignan. The red cabriolet is photographed in a car park in Oslo. The retro model is a modified 964, photographed at Rudskogen during the Porsche Festival 2019. There are several 964 Backdated Outlaw models online. For me, an aging Porsche enthusiast, this car is an absolute eye-catcher. It's all a matter of taste and preference. Some do everything they can to make their 911 look more modern, others want to keep the original feel, and some swear by the classic look. The black 911 Turbo is photographed outside Shishi Blomster on Skøyen. The car with French plates on a harbor is photographed in St. Cyprien on the occasion of the Porsche meet "Tra'Montagne 2023". The green car with Spanish plates was seen in Céret, France, 2024.
