Studebaker started in the middle of the 1800th century as a carriage manufacturer. At the beginning of the 1900th century, they started the production of cars, as well as chassis for buses and trucks. In 1954 the company merged with Packard but continued to produce cars under its own brand. The last Studebaker was produced in 1966.

Also called the GT Hawk, it was the last Hawk model, produced from 1962 until production ceased in December 1963.

Studebaker Avanti

The Studebaker Avanti had a short life as "Studebaker" as the factory was forced to close its doors. But the model lived on as the Avanti II.

The Studebaker lark had as much space as a full-size American for its time, only in a shorter frame and less chrome.
