Toyota's Urban Cruiser

The C-HR looks like it is earmarked for an active life in the urban jungle. Toyota did not pass on the nice name "Urban Cruiser" to the C-HR. It's really a shame, because the designation would have been a good fit. Toyota's 4th hybrid gets a little fussy if you're too hard on the gas, but works best when you're cruising calmly with lowered shoulders and a light foot on the gas. Then the trip computer rewards you with record low consumption. I cruised around in Saturday city traffic with an average of 038-0,40 liters per mile.

Tesla 3 Long Range

The main reason for me to choose the Tesla 3 is the raw driving characteristics. For the same price as a good family car, you get a car that can compete with sports cars that "fart" between gear changes. The Tesla doesn't make noise and it doesn't smoke, and best of all – you can charge a full tank for a hundred on your own wall charger. The world's best range (with 75 Kwh) is reason number 2. Enough power to get all the way to the cabin without charging en route.

Audi Q2 30 TFSI

You get the feeling of sitting in a solid vehicle with solid door sides, towering hoods and good material quality in everything you touch. Does a soberly equipped, small crossover give any Audi feeling?

New Toyota Corolla Hybrid

- Runs on electricity half the time, says the advertisement. I'm curious to see if the Corolla commercial holds up. Toyota's fourth generation hybrid solution has been running in the Prius 4 since 2015 without any problems.

Audi TFSI A3 30

Nano gray metallic, 18-inch rims, black roof rails, S line roof edge spoiler and striking S line bumpers make a very good first impression. In fact, it looks so good that one would expect to find two tailpipes at the back...

BMW i3 without successor?

Rumors say that BMW may not make any sequels to the i3. We are talking about Norway's fourth best-selling electric car in the first half of the year - and 7th place on the sales lists for August.

Volkswagen Polo 1,0 TSI 95 DSG

It runs on torque. The DSG gearbox helps keep the revs at 1500 revs all the way up to highway speed. It makes it possible to drive very economically.

Driving pleasure on the altar of downsizing

I like Volkswagen's 1,2 TSI engines. They are a good example of successful downsizing. But Volkswagen has moved on. On paper, everything looks better - except for driving pleasure.

Hyundai Ioniq

The paddles on the steering wheel do not control gear changes, but step-by-step dosing of the artificial engine brake. The location made it both easy and fun to drive actively - or perhaps you could say "eco-active".

Will the ProAce become a HiAce?

The utility vehicle that started and ran in all kinds of weather, with durability that surpassed anything else in its class. Japanese quality that was a great success here at home. Will ProAce become HiAce?

Volvo XC40 D3 R-Design

I like the R-Design package – both the visual impression with the all-black grill, black-painted exterior mirrors, interior decor and black headliner. I would also like to highlight the sports chassis.

Jeep Renegade Longitude

American car with drivetrain from Fiat. It delivers both good traction and good fuel economy, but the steering and chassis disappoint. But the Jeep gets goodwill everywhere. It is cool and image-creating.

What the Audi A1 scores on is that it is fun to drive. The outgoing A1 is still a youthful car - with a slight hint of femininity.

Volkswagen Polo 1.0 65 HP

This year's summer holiday car does not offer much driving pleasure. The Polo 6 is really a super car, but Volkswagen's smallest one-litre engine is not as well suited to all our summer roads.
