Practical use of space
The market is not exactly flooded with small commercial vehicles Toyota Dyna. They were probably a little too special for that – maybe a little too Japanese. Although the Dyna 100 looks small – it should not be confused with small electric pickups and flimsy scooter-powered vehicles. Dyna is a Japanese truck on a solid frame, powered by a 3-liter truck engine of 109 HP (later versions 144 HP) – and a tilting cab. The cab seems spacious despite its modest dimensions. There seems to be enough headroom. Comfort suffers from sitting directly above the front axle, but the location right in front makes optimal use of the space.
You must have a car like that!
This is a truck in every way. Yet it takes up less space than the Auris station wagon. Ideal for all practical tasks. Bring your load and hit the road. The truck is practical even if you don't need to carry anything. Easy to get into. Easy to use, easy to park, reliable as an old Toyota. This is not just a car you need, but now you have advice to have one as a hobby car, old man's car - or car number two?
Model history
The model that was sold as Dyna here at home was called Toyoace in Asian markets. The first model came in 1959. The first cars came to Norway in 1966. The cars had similarities with early versions of the Toyota Hiace. The car in the main picture is the 7th generation (1999-2011).
About the cars in the pictures
The car in the main picture was for sale at Ökern Car Auction at Fornebu. Starting price was 99.000. Mileage is 130.000. No visible rust, complete and nice car. EU recently taken. First registered 2008. The other car is an earlier model that was on the Krokstadelva in Drammen municipality.
